T'was awesome this year. and I went together again X3

What I really liked was that the staff had Eirtakon merchandise for sale, like calendars with cosplay, huuuuge umbrellas (a must in Ireland), cups, hats, etc - all for a children's charity. I had to say I was really impressed - so I got an Eirtakon mug.

Artist's Alley is getting bigger too, which is really nice to see. I keep thinking about trying my hand at making stuff and setting up a table, so maybe next year. I had previously started crafts like clay keyrings and phone charms, but they look far too amateurish, so I didn't bring them.

I went dressed as a Battlestar Galactica officer - my same cosplay for FanExpo in Canada, if mainly because I didn't have an anime costume prepared AT ALL. It was the wrong genre - but several people recognised me, including the staff, one who loved the costume, which was pretty cool

Dublin itself was REALLY nice since the Christmas decorations were very nicely done, and :iconmustard-freak: and I went around with some friends to see Dublin. We visited Kilmainham Jail too - and it's still as deathly silent as I remember it. You go inside and all the noise from traffic and everything is completely muffled - and you don't hear animals or anything either. There's a very old and sad air about the place.
On a lighter note, Dublin's shops are so much nicer then Cork. The downside to that however is that more money will be spent D:
Thankfully, this year, I was actually sensible. I always get stuff from Artist's Alley though X3
My only weakness was a Warrior of Light from Dissidia figurine for 8 Euro

This year went very very well, so I'm really looking forward to next year
I'm ALSO looking forward to Ireland's newest con - Nom-Con! next year too.
